I am Tina and I am 19 years old. I come from Belgium but moved to Denmark 3 years ago and now I live at the Boarding School, in my free time I go to horseback riding.
I will explain a bit about the boarding school and horseback riding :)

The boarding school is a building which lies opposite of the school.There are 79 pupils who live here during the week, and we can stay during the weekend if we want to.
We live here the whole school year, but during the holidays we have to go home.

We pay each month to live here, but in return we eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and we have our own room.
We have to do all the cleaning our selves so that our rooms are acceptable to live in. Two times in the year we have kitchen duty, that includes being in the kitchen thursday after dinner and for brunch in the weekend.
And two times in the year we have to cleen the floor we live on, I live on 2th floor, so two times each year I have to wakume the hall and clean the teakitchen.
In our free time we can do a lot different things, we can sit outside and do our homework, play different games, go into town for some shopping, be with others in the boarding school or just be in our rooms.
Horseback riding is a very popular sport in Denmark, and kids/teenagers from age 5-18 uses a lot of their time with their horses.
Many of them have their very own horse, but you can also ride on a riding school once a week or share a horse with its owner.
If you share a horse with its owner, you must pay an amount per month which helps the owner to pay the blacksmith and veterinarian, in return you get permission to ride the horse a few days of the week it may be Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I have been riding for 13 years and i love every moment of it. It is fantastic to be able to share so many hours with a creature that is so magnificent. It is my way of freedom, everytime I'm with my horse I forget everything I'm thinking about, and I just enjoy to be with him.
